I made a last minute decision to get lunch here and I'm so glad I did! I customized my own pizza with all my random toppings that probably don't go together but the pizza was still amazing! The tomatoes added a wonderful burst to each bite. I ordered mild buffalo wings and they were spicier than I expected, which I LOVED! The wings were made perfectly crispy and I enjoyed every bite. There is bar, booth and table seating. It seems like a lot of people come here to relax and have a drink during lunch. The bartender seemed social so I could see why. This is a great place to go for food a drinks.
I visit New York Pizza several times a month in this past year and must say they are a great cozy neighborhood bar and restaurant . The lunch specials are very good with lots of choices from slices of pizza to salads. The server Tabitha goes out of her way to please many regulars and all the customers . Last week we had the NYP sub which has a variety of meats and served on a warm toasted bun. The meat and toppings were fresh. The Calzone I had with pepperoni and sausage was cooked to perfection with a nice garlicky crust . The pizza is very good and glad this local pizza place is in my neighborhood .
I arrived around 6:35pm on a Saturday evening with my son and a friend to get dinner. When arrived, we were told to sit where we wanted. We wanted to sit outside but all the tables were taken. We ordered at 6:45pm. We got a large meat extravaganza pizza, mozzarella sticks, and 6 piece garlic parm wings. We also ordered 2 margaritas. Mozzarella sticks came at 7pm. Pizza and wings came at 7:01pm. The margaritas were strong and delicious! I highly recommend them! All the food was fresh and we enjoyed it! This was my first time visiting here and I plan to return, especially as it's not too far from my house! Service was great!
This is definitely a bar. And it's on the small side inside. They do have patio seating that some people were taking advantage of. They do a lot of business. They are always busy and their servers are working hard! This trip we went to try the Sicilian pizza. Their deep dish was yummy. The amount of sauce and topping was just right. The crust was crisp and soft in the middle. They do warn you that the Sicilian takes longer to cook so we did get an appetizer to tide us. It was a delicious meal.
We have passed New York Pizza and Bar & Grill nearly everyday for the last three years and have never stopped in. Today was the day and we dropped in to have lunch!! We were greeted and told to seat ourselves wherever we would like to sit. Quickly our server came to tell us about their lunch specials and take our drink order. We opted for the Italian sub and the personal pizza with ham, pineapple, and Jalapeños. Everything arrived fresh and hot out of the oven! The food is great and the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. We will definitely be back again soon!
Sports bar that truly makes you think you're in Hell's Kitchen area where they have the best small restaurants in NYC. The pizza is authentic and the crust and sauce is just the way I like it. Tangy tomato sauce, flavorful mozzarella, and thin crispy crust perfect for folding (if you're into that!) The menu has great appetizers and sandwiches but I always go for the pizza. You can't go wrong. It's loud and lots of energy, especially on game nights. Enjoy!!!
